If you’re looking for a fast-paced thought-provoking thriller, take a moment and download In The Company of Monsters by Chris Kohout.
A Brief Synopsis of In The Company Of Monsters:
Detective Jack Arnette was a respected cop, before a hostage situation went horribly wrong. Victor Slade is a meditating, hedonistic cop-killer. When Victor makes a pickup at the Seattle docks, Jack sees a chance for redemption. A simple arrest. Respect regained. But events spin out of control when Jack and Victor are quarantined with the dock workers and a virus that can make anyone go temporarily homicidal. Who would you trust when anyone could become a killer?
About the Author:
Chris loves the process of creating something out of nothing. For many years, he worked from home as a programmer. He’d have an idea for a new product, build it, and his business partner would sell it. After about ten years, he looked around for a change and studied scriptwriting and film directing before settling into writing novels. In August 2013, he published Einstein Must Die!, and it held the #1 spot on Amazon’s Steampunk category for three weeks. It currently has a 4.5 star rating on Amazon with 70 reviews. His second novel, Lawgivers, is a response to the current state of the US, where the middle class seems increasingly marginalized.
What Readers Are Saying About In The Company of Monsters:
“I found myself wondering what I would do if I found myself and my loved ones in the situation. It’s a good read from a new, exciting author. I’ve read his other book and am looking forward to reading what he publishes next.” –FJP
“The author is talented, the writing is clean and suspenseful. I found it to be a quick and enjoyable read. If you’re in the mood for a fast-paced thriller, give this one a try.” –Arthur Bradley
