Is Time Travel Possible? It is in An Untimely Romance.
July 10, 2013 | Filled under Romance |
Is time travel possible? Some scientists believe it is. But you do not need a machine to travel through time. That’s right. All you need is love. So I Guess John Lennon was right. And so are Laura and Judy Wells, a UK based mother/daughter writing team and authors of An Untimely Romance.
If you are a romance reader of any sub-genre, you’ve got to give this book a try. I’ve read it and it is a beautiful breakout novel where love is found in the hidden corners of time. J & L Wells have created something really special with An Untimely Romance. The book begins in 19th Century England and then picks up in modern UK where Heather, the main protagonist, is on the verge of womanhood. Her parents own a large estate that they’ve recently refurbished as a historical landmark and are planning a grand opening for public view. But through all of this she is somehow hurled back and forth through time because fate, for whatever reason, insists that she find her true love.
In her modern life, there is Ruben, a real jerk with an uncanny ability to charm. In the past, there is another man, a man of virtue. Sometimes, our choices are not always obvious. We all have a good side and a dark side, and young Heather must sort it all out, in her own way, on her own terms. But time has its own idea of who is right for Heather, a tender young lady who you are going to love and cheer for.
WARNING: There are some mild adult themes.
This book is a breeze to read and is full of beautiful writing and detailed descriptions of the 19th Century time period that only a UK author could pull off. With An Untimely Romance, you get twice the writing power. So if you love Romance in all its steamy genres, you MUST MUST MUST read An Untimely Romance by J & L Wells.
