Reviewers Are Raving About Zombie Ever After:
“Cathren’s zombie status provides many moments of entertaining grossness — e.g. she alternately sheds and regrows body parts — and the horde of angry detached heads is at once hilarious and horrific.” –Publishers Weekly
“Loved the wit, the comedic timing, the action — and loved Cathren. Overall, a solid zombie tale for fans of the genre.” –Vampire Origins
“Even though I normally avoid zombie-themed books (I could not finish Jane Austen with Zombies), I would read this book.” –ABNA Judge

An Award-Winning Zombie Novel Set in the Wild West
November 24, 2012 | Filled under Uncategorized |
Take a look at today’s featured novel, Wanted: Dead or Undead by Angela Scott. Winner of The Kindle Book Review Best Indie Book of 2012 – Young Adult, Scott will capture your attention from page one with this unique Zombie series. It currently has a whopping 4.5 star rating with 60 reviews. Wanted: Dead or Undead is also the winner of League of Utah Writers Golden Quill Award 2012 and a finalist in the 2012 USA Best Book Awards. You certainly do not want to miss this one. Â
A Little About Wanted: Dead or Undead:
Trace Monroe doesn’t believe in luck. He never has. But when a fiery-headed cowgirl saunters through the saloon doors, wielding shotguns and a know-how for killing the living dead, he believes he just may be the luckiest man alive. Trace wants to join Red’s posse, but she prefers to work alone–less messy that way. In order to become her traveling companion, Trace has to agree to her terms: no names, no questions, and if he gets bit, he can’t beg for mercy when she severs his brain stem. He agrees, knowing only that Red is the sharpest shooter he’s ever encountered. The fact she’s stunning hasn’t escaped his attention either. What he doesn’t know, is that Red has a very good reason to be on top of her game. She not only has the answer for how they can all outlive the plague taking over the wild, wild west, she IS the answer.
About the Author:
Angela Scott hears voices. Tiny fictional people sit on her shoulders and whisper their stories in her ear. Instead of medicating herself, she decided to pick up a pen, write down everything those voices tell her, and turn it into a book. She’s not crazy. She’s an author. For the most part, she writes contemporary Young Adult novels. However, through a writing exercise that spiraled out of control, she found herself writing about zombies terrorizing the Wild Wild West–and loving it.
What People Are Saying About Wanted: Dead or Undead:
“It was well written, well plotted and VERY entertaining (even the lovey dovey aspects of it!) If you like a good shoot out, and zombies trying to eat your brains for brunch, pick it up… you won’t be sorry.” – KindleObsessed Reviews
“I should probably preface this review by warning you that I don’t care for Westerns, or Zombies. The fascinating thing about this, is that Angela Scott has managed to combine them into a story that I absolutely LOVE! I had so much fun reading this book, and somehow couldn’t wait to find out what happens next while hating that each page was bringing me closer to the end of it (is the sequel out yet? when can I read THAT?! Pant, Pant, Pant)” – Rebecca L. Fisk “BookWorm”
“If you enjoyed The Forest of Hands and Trees, then you’ll enjoy this zombie novel set in the old west. Angela Scott does a tremendous job of finding the perfect balance between the zombie part, the romance part, and the emotional part. The writing was fantabulous and certain events totally sucked me in” – Laura Pauling
