A Brief Summary of CHASING INNOCENCE:

‘That poor little body, passed from pillar to post, all those things that will be asked of her. All those tears and years wondering why her father betrayed her.’
Sarah Sawacki’s past has taught her to be a survivor. At the age of 28 she is currently living the best part of her life. Until she witnesses Andrea, a ten-year-old girl, being abducted. Everything inside her says to turn away and erase it from her mind, but Sarah can only follow – driven by the innocence she barely knew.

Andrea’s father is ex-military and living a miserable civilian life. Now that his daughter is missing, he realizes what a gift she truly is. Teaming up with Sarah’s husband, they follow the trail being left by Sarah to search for his missing daughter.

Detective Francis Boer is dying. He will use his legendary experience and intuition to answer the very important question – Why was Andrea the target? His hope is not to catch the guilty, but to save one last innocent.

About the Author:

Born on May 16, 1967 in Portsmouth, Hampshire, John Potter spent most of his childhood daydreaming. Mostly he wanted to save the world or failing that be a goalkeeper. Realising he didn’t have what was needed for either, he focused on a career as a programmer. A decade later he was working for himself, which took him around the world. In 2002 he watched a movie made by Peter Jackson and realised everything he wanted to say and achieve, existed within the creative realm. Having spent a lifetime daydreaming wild stories he set about focusing on making the imagery play as words on the page. So he decided to set up his own publishing company. The goal was to produce a book that was at least as polished and entertaining, from cover to cover, as the best large publishing houses could produce. Chasing Innocence was published on January 31 2012.
